The river Soogog-Gol. Information about river
The river Soogog-Gol flows in Western Mongolia, in the Mongolian Altai mountains, Bayan-Olgii aimag, left tributary of the Kobdo-Gol river. The source is in small glacier of the Tavan-Bogd-Ula mountains range. Flows to south-south east through open and wide valey. Flows into the Kobdo-Gol river at village Ulan-Khus. In the river basin is almost no glaciers in the absence of rain is not very watery. In upper section the river calls Ikh-Oiguryn-Gol, in middle section - Oigor-Gol, in lower section - Sogoog-Gol. In upper and middle section the valley of the river is open and wide, only in few places the river flows through short gorges. In lower section the valley very wide, the river divides to many ducts. Lenght of the river 143 km. The mayor tributaries: left: Shekt-Oigor-Gol, Khara-Dzhamat-Gol, Bor-Burgasny-Gol, Bulugiin-Gol, right: Ugaldzyn-Gol, Mongol-Gol, Khatusiin-Gol. The degree of difficulty of the river in few places can reach WW 3
